Regal Lager, Inc. and phil&teds have decided to go separate ways, in the
spring of 2009
KENNESAW, Georgia November 24, 2008 After four years,
effective May 1, 2009, Regal Lager, Inc. will no longer be the distributor of phil&teds,
in the United States. In 2005 when Regal Lager became the exclusive distributor
phil&teds was distributed in about 40 stores. When Regal Lager turns over sales
and distribution to phil&teds they will be represented in 600 stores. Campbell
Gower, owner and CEO of phil&teds, expressed deep gratitude to Regal Lager management
and staff, thanking the company for what he called a job exceptionally well done,
making the phil&teds brand and products well known and in high demand in the
United States.
Regal Lagers President, Bengt Lager also expressed appreciation to have been given
the opportunity to represent phil&teds. I am extremely proud of the whole Regal
Lager organization. We have laid a very strong foundation for phil&teds, with
wide distribution in just a few short years. It is a true testament to all the hard
work and dedication among our sales staff, including our sales reps, customer care
representatives, logistics and PR. And we are extremely proud of all the 100 or
so graduates of phil&teds university who will continue to promote and grow the
phil&teds quirky brand. We wish phil&teds continued success and the best
of luck in years to come, added Lager.
